• you must be over 18 years old to hire the hall
• you leave the hall as you find it (sweep floors and mop if necessary and take your rubbish away with you)
• if selling alcohol then you will need a liquor licence (only applies to the sale of liquor – allow about 28 days to get a licence if applicable). Also, the property is a Council property so underage drinking requires appropriate parental supervision on site.  If you are not selling alcohol, no licencing is required.
• music/noise is reduced by a reasonable hour to respect the neighbours, off by midnight and everyone is out by 1 am.  Note the hall is in a residential area with families with young children close by. 
• you are responsible for your guests and their actions both inside and outside of the hall.
• the hall and surrounding carpark are non-smoking areas (Council stipulation)

Hall Details

• main hall space (about 10m x 15m) with polished wooden floors and a 5m stud – to give an idea of the size we have had a few bouncy castles set up inside for kids’ birthday parties
• upstairs carpeted mezzanine (about 10m x 4m) with a walkway around the rest of the hall
• hall capacity at 120 people as per fire regulations
• basic kitchen facilities – 2 domestic ovens, new 40L microwave, and a fridge.
  plenty of brand-new dinnerware, glassware, and cookware.
  40x dinner, 40x serving plates, 40x bowls, 40x mugs, 40x wine glasses, 40x tumbler glasses., round casserole dish, 2x rectangular ceramic cooking trays
  * hirer’s responsibility to wash & dry before & after use (BYO tea towels – please report any missing items before use or breakages or before use)
  No problem if you bring anything you need to use these. Just don’t forget them… Most people organise caterers who do what they do.
• a zip water heater for teas & coffees but we don’t have tea pots.
• 19 tables and about 100 chairs
  please ensure these are properly lifted, not dragged across our amazing wooden floors
  use chair trolley for carrying up to 5 chairs
  
• To protect the varnished wooden floor, the hall hirer must ensure that any footwear that has metal or hard parts on the sole is never worn inside the building.
  * definitely no stiletto heels nor roller blades.
• men’s, women’s and disabled toilets – also ramp access to the hall via Lookout Drive
• Free high-speed fibre based WiFi open connection. but no installed sound system yet.
• heating is currently via a coin box – $1 gives 30 minutes of heat pump heating or cooling
