Modern Facilities
The hall is equipped with separate male, female, & disability toilets. Multiple heat pumps for warm winters & cool summers, plus a generous sized non-commercial kitchen area, with basic domestic class ovens, fridge, & hot water.
Plenty of Free Parking
Multiple adjoining off-street hall car parks as well as plenty of free street parking right by the hall. Feel free to get in touch if you wish to host your dream wedding, birthday party, dancing, exercise class, or community group gathering with us.
HIRE FEES ARE $20/hour CAPPED AT $200/day
So if you book from 10 – 20 hours in a day, the cost will still only be $200
HOW TO BOOK HALL
1. Check Available Times on Calendar
2. Go to Online Booking menu & add number of hours or days to cart (allow for setup & clean-up time)
3. Go to Check Out and fill in details.
4. Provide Hall Booking Date & Times at the checkout before completing order eg. Birthday Saturday 28/9/2024 10am – 4pm (last Saturday of each month)
5. Read Conditions of Hire then press Request Booking Button to confirm booking request.
6. Fill in online Hall Hire Agreement and e-sign.
A fully refundable bond of $100 is added. This is refunded once the keys are returned & hall left clean & tidy (passes LDCA inspection). You will receive a booking request email including bank account and order # reference. Your request will be confirmed once the booking is checked & accepted by LDCA and payment has been received.
- you must be over 18 years old to hire the hall
- you leave the hall as you find it (sweep floors and mop if necessary and take your rubbish away with you)
- if selling alcohol then you will need a liquor licence (only applies to the sale of liquor – allow about 28 days to get a licence if applicable). Also, the property is a Council property so underage drinking requires appropriate parental supervision on site. If you are not selling alcohol, no licencing is required.
- music/noise is reduced by a reasonable hour to respect the neighbours, off by midnight and everyone is out by 1 am. Note the hall is in a residential area with families with young children close by.
- you are responsible for your guests and their actions both inside and outside of the hall.
- the hall and surrounding carpark are non-smoking areas (Council stipulation)

* hirer’s responsibility to wash & dry before & after use (BYO tea towels – please report any missing items before use or breakages or before use)
No problem if you bring anything you need to use these. Just don’t forget them… Most people organise caterers who do what they do. - a zip water heater for teas & coffees but we don’t have tea pots.

use chair trolley for carrying up to 5 chairs - To protect the varnished wooden floor, the hall hirer must ensure that any footwear that has metal or hard parts on the sole is never worn inside the building.
* definitely no stiletto heels nor roller blades. - men’s, women’s and disabled toilets – also ramp access to the hall via Lookout Drive
- Free high-speed fibre based WiFi open connection. but no installed sound system yet.
- heating is currently via a coin box – $1 gives 30 minutes of heat pump heating or cooling
